What are your 2015 dental resolutions? It’s very nearly a new year, and with a near year comes new goals. While 2014 was a great year for our staff members at our La Jolla, CA, dental practice, it is always exciting to look forward to all the wonderful things that come with a new year. Whether you’re aiming for a promotion at work, or hoping to spend more time with the family, or planning to quit smoking, we wish you the best of luck in meeting your resolutions and we are confident that 2015 will be a wonderful year for you.

Following the tradition, we’ve set out some resolutions for our practice. One of these is to grow our knowledge and skills, to continue delivering the highest quality of dental implant service in San Diego. Another 2015 resolution of ours is to continue working on making our dental office in La Jolla more homely, more comfortable, and cozier for you, our patient. We already put a lot of effort in making sure you can feel at home and safe when at our office, but when it comes to comfort there’s no such thing as ‘too much.’

If you haven’t planned for it already, one of your goals for the New Year should definitely revolve around your smile. If you’re missing one or more teeth, the beginning of the year is a great time to start the dental implant process. There are plenty of reasons to give our office a call in January, which include:

  1. The end-of-the-year crowds, looking to fit in their dental work last minute to take advantage of their remaining insurance dollars, have settled down and scheduling has opened up, allowing you to set your appointments at a time most convenient to you.
  2. Your insurance annual maximums have reset and you have plenty of insurance dollars to invest towards a strong, healthy, and beautiful smile.
  3. Now is the time of the year for special promotions and offers, so keep your eyes peeled.

Treating tooth loss should be of paramount importance, as leaving a missing tooth untreated can develop into worse dental health problems. These include not only gum disease and tooth decay, but also anxiety and depression. As the saying goes, prevention is the best type of medicine. Dental implants are the leading solution for tooth loss precisely because, out of all tooth replacement treatments, they most comprehensively address all the issues associated with missing teeth.
